He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Moody and Sarah McCammon Moody; his wife Donna Stultz Moody; his son Paul Moody; and his siblings, Robert Moody, Edna Wolfe and Betty Collins.
He is survived by: his children, Johnathan Thompson (Kimberly) of Chesapeake, David Moody (Tammy) of Sullivan and Stacey Wilson of Dugger; and his grandchildren, Patrick Thompson (Colleen), Alansa Plummer (Koltin), Ravyn Enstrom (Alec), Mason O'Neal (Katie), Adriana O'Neal, Amber Wright-Griffith (Ricky), Trenton Moody (Jalyn), Alexa Moody, Ty Moody and Justin Wilson. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
