He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Avellina and Marie Agagnina Avellina; his wife Ursula Gratzsch; his great grandchild Mercy Erika Esmee Shacklee; his nephew Vincent Avellina; and his brother Joe Avellina.
He is survived by: his children, Sonny, Heidi Avellina (Joe) and Debra Shockley (Tim); his grandchildren, Melissa Nichole Smith (Michelle) and Anthony John Derengowski; and his great grandchildren, Chloe Kaylynn Nykole, Briley Raine and Sophie Alayla Shacklee.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Holmes Memorial Chapel (642 W Silver St, Sullivan, IN 47882). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
