It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Gerkin (Sullivan, Indiana), born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, who passed away on March 24, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonathon Gerkin and Daphne Gerkin (Thomas); his wife Donna Stutsman Gerkin; and his sisters, Elizabeth Millang and Viola Pettigrew.
He is survived by: his sons, Ray Gerkin (Janet) of North Vernon, Ronnie Gerkin of Indianapolis and Donnie Gerkin (Tonya) of Oklahoma City; his grandchildren, Karen Wilhelm (Ben), Shawn Gerkin (Chasity), Rayann Scott (Michael), LeAnn Stidham (Josh), Kim Moore (Sean) and Scott Gerkin; and his sister Vivian Halberstadt (Howard) of Sullivan. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
