He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Mason and Almeda Taft Mason; his wife Phyllis Crooks; his brothers, Gilbert Jr. and Billy; his son Troy; and his pet Maddy.
He is survived by: his daughter Tori Mason; his granddaughters, Sydney, Haley, Morgan, Rylee, Tayler and Alexis; his siblings, Sheila, Carol and Joe; and his great grandchildren, Blaine, Henry, Bo and Millie. He is also survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Shelburn American Legion Post #139 (824 N Washington St, Shelburn, IN 47879).
The family requests that if you so wish, donations be made in Al's memory to the Shelburn Youth League.
