With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marian Wardell of Sullivan, Indiana, who passed away on June 9, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Lisman and Bessie Burroughs Lisman; her siblings, Alyce Ladd, Kathleen Raymond, Wanda Irene Lisman, Claude Lisman, Jr. and John Lisman; her husband Robert Wardell; and her great grandchild Trevor Holladay.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Wardell, David Wardell (Shelly), Cheryl Holladay (Damon) and Lisa Stepro; her grandchildren, Chirstopher Wardell, Rachel Canerday (Wardell), Carie Fisher (Holladay), Aaron Holladay, Bryan Holladay, Travis Stepro, Sarah Jacob (Stepro), Jennifer Inman (Stepro), Bryce Wardell, Regan Salander (Wardell) and Karah Wardell; and her nieces and nephews, Annette Engle, Alyce Nolen, Claudia Swisher, Jamie Hales, Richard Raymond, Philip Raymond, Jim Ladd and John Ladd. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
Family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Sullivan First United Methodist church children's programs.
