Kenton Eugene Monroe Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenton Eugene Monroe (Sullivan, Indiana), who passed away on December 16, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Kenton may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kenton touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman McDean Monroe and Garnett Ruth Monroe (Borders); and his brothers, Jerry Monroe, Thomas Monroe and Raymond Monroe.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Monroe (Dudley); his sibling Jan Clark Benjamin (Holy Clark); and his children, Thomas Monroe (Kathy Monroe), Tammie Santiago, Thurman Monroe (Heather Snyder) and Jacquelyn Estelle (Gerald Estelle). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Wabash Valley Community Church.
