Valdez Sr. of Mexico and Lorena Hollifield Martin (Will Benson) of Sullivan; his wife Ashley Overturf Valdez of Herrin; his sons, Michael Valdez of Herrin and Jace Valdez of Herrin; his siblings, Jamie Valdez (David James) of Sullivan, Jaron Wilkes (Kelsy Jolley) of Vincennes, Jenni Wilkes (Bethany) of New York, Isaac Valdez of Texas, Michelle Valdez of Texas, Elissa Ryser (Jonathon) of Princeton, George Heath Wilkes (Carey) of Rockford and Jared Wilkes (Sarah) of Shelburn; his nieces and nephews, Zane McKee, Gabriel Brown, Leila Brown, Kiley Brown, MiKayla Brown and Amelia Wilkes; and his aunt Leticia Maxey. He is also survived by several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
