With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Sparks of Sullivan, Indiana, born in Linton, Indiana, who passed away on June 20, 2021 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Sparks to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaylord Sparks and Mary E. Sparks (Merritt); and his siblings, Mary Jane Royalty, Eleanor Sparks and William Sparks.

He is survived by: his wife Chrystal Sparks (Warnick); his daughters, Susan Gofourth (James) and Sara Moore (Margaret Karnes); his siblings, Marge George, Nancy Ochoa, Cathi Delp and John; and his grandchildren, Cara Gofourth, Cassie Moore and Reggie Karnes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that for those who desire, contributions may be made to the Sullivan County Salvation Army.
