He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, E. Foy Rusk and Gwendolyn Ellis Rusk; and his siblings, Diane McCammon, Randy Rusk (Sharon) of Fort Wayne and Janice Pierson (David) of Billings, Montana.. He was also cherished by several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Sullivan First Christian Church.
