He is survived by: his daughter Agnes Norton (James Norton) of Macomb; his stepson Brad Lucas (Jessica) of Terre Haute; his grandsons, Stephen A. Norton and Phillip M. Norton; and his brother-in-law H. L. Hollingsworth of Marshall. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren.
