He was predeceased by: his parents, William Roy Metcalf and Margaret Davis Metcalf; his siblings, Marion Dale Metcalf, Billy Metcalf and Eva Metcalf; his brother-in-law Al Jackson; and his grandsons, Daniel, Josh and Dillion.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Deakins Metcalf; his children, Eric Metcalf, Billy Metcalf, Bob Metcalf, Justin Metcalf, Chris Jenkins, Craig Jenkins and Christen Arnold (Andy); his sister Marlyn Jackson; his sister-in-law Diane Metcalf; his grandchildren, Brennon, Caleb, Gideon, David, Alex, Daphnie, Gage, Jordan, Kaitlynn, Tessa, Will, Blaine, Christopher, Jonathan, Gavin, Taylor and Bryce; and his pets, Pearl, Jake and Cat Ziva. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
