He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Franklin and Cynthia Winifred Grissom (Beadle); and his siblings, Janet Tomey, Shirley Brown, Jerry Grissom and Elbert "Frank" Grissom.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Victoria Grissom (Dennis); his daughter Megan LaRue (Donald "Eddie"); and his grandsons, Donnie LaRue and Logan LaRue. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
