He is survived by: his spouse Essie Messer (Terry); his children, Sandy Christian (Steve) of Valparaiso and Charles Creech (Debbie) of Valparaiso; his stepchildren, Nannie Sue Combs of Stroh, Cecil Messer of Stroh, Lonnie Messer (Connie) of Wolcottville, Jodie Messer of Angola, Phillip Messer (Tina) of Elkhart and Berry Jane Thompson (Kevin) of Michigan; and his brother Eli Creech of Ohio. He is also survived by three grandchildren; 21 step-grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
