He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Coffey (Detar) of Washington and Rick Detar (Sunny); his son Jason Andrew Detar (Michelle) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana.; his wife Susan Bea Detar (Stout); his children, Laura Prine (Gary), Alechia Hoeltke (Jonathan) and Robin Detar; his grandchildren, Chalmer, Haakon, Gwyneth, Lela Hoeltke, Emma and Simon Detar; and his caregivers, Marilyn Lichty and Marilyn Steury. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
