It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Ann Lowder of Straughn, Indiana, born in New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel B. Shafer and Dona Joane Shafer (Fowler); her son Kent Allen Miller; and her brother Kent Shafer. She is survived by: her husband David E. Lowder; her sons, Jeremy Brooke Miller and Brandon Byron Lowder; and her brother Gary Shafer.
