Janice Spurgin Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2021, at the age of 81, Janice Spurgin of Straughn, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, David Lilly and Faustine Lilly (Bates); her sisters, Joan Cota (Bill) and Patricia Bowers; and her grandson Joey Massengale.

She is survived by: her husband Floyd Spurgin; her children, Gary Spurgin (Anna Maria) of Greenfield, Michael Spurgin (Nancy) of Anderson, Scott Spurgin (Abby) of Knightstown and Holly Massengale (Kevin) of Straughn; her grandchildren, Griffin Spurgin of Greenfield, Amber Burns (JT) of New Castle, Rachel Crabtree (Matthew) of New Castle, Tammi Nicholson, Reanna Jessup (Lance) of Markleville, Melissa Collis of Fishers, Lee Spurgin (Melissa) of Knightstown, Anna Hendrickson (Chance) of Wilkinson, Hunter Coleman (Kasey) of Knightstown, JR, Amber Dowell of Dunreith, Trevor Heady (Taylor Craft), Sarah Heady and Corbyn Heady of Straughn; and her sister Deanna Timmons (Michael) of Clermont. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, beloved cousins and cherished friends.
