He is survived by: his wife Mildred Elaine Buis (Rhea) of Stilesviile; his children, Douglas Buis (Kim) of Indianapolis, Michael Buis (Susan) of Avon and Karen Nead (Jason) of Tipton; his siblings, Joanne Crawford of Greencastle, Darrell Buis (Charla) of Belle Union, Jeanne Berry (John) of Cloverdale and David Buis of Cloverdale; his grandchildren, Bethany (Zack), Megan (Seth), Katie (Kendall), Cody, Amanda (Nick), Andrew, Hannah, Samantha and Charlie; and his great grandchildren, Destony, Harlan, Warren, Rylan and Amelia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice of the American Diabetes Foundation or the Belle Union Fire Department.
