It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eunice A. Butke of Stendal, Indiana, who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eunice A. Butke to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ola Meyer (Henke) and Reuben D. Butke of Peter's Lutheran Church; her husband Reuben Butke; and also Erich "Bud" Meyer, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Kent Benjamin Butke (Marcia) of Huntingburg, Amy Lynne Gonnerman (Gary) of Stendal and Beth Kay Kendall (John) of Holland; her sisters, Hazel Katter of Martinsville and Inza Dedrick of Jasper; and her grandchildren, Krista Gearhart (Wes) of Lafayette, Leigh Hochgesang (Derrick) of Huntingburg, Jace Gonnerman (Katie) of Crozet, VA, Erich Kendall (Jessica) of Santa Claus, Sarah Bradley (Jake) of Princeton and Katelyn Gil (Ricardo) of Winston Salem, NC. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peters Lutheran Church (10529 Church St, Stendal, IN 47585). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
