We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2022, at the age of 88, Lydia Belle Millard (Spurgeon, Indiana), born in Jasonville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Burton Houpt and Mary Pha Houpt (McAtee); her husband Ernest George Grimes; and her sisters, Mary Ann Dickson (Gettis), Nila Lou Hart and Emma Mae Reichenback (Rick).

She is survived by: her sons, Larry Grimes (Shannon) and Paul Grimes (Betty); and her grandsons, Gregory Grimes (Brianne) and Thomas Julian (Kelly). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, friends and family.

She was a member of the American Red Cross, American Cancer Society and the UMW, Lydia was also a Sunday School teacher which she enjoyed very much.
