He is survived by: his children, Angela Sparks (Kevin) of Fort Branch and Richard Bethe (Tina) of Spurgeon; his grandchildren, Zach Fuchs (Kyle), Kaleb Fuchs, Kendra Fuchs, Olivia Fuchs and Nadia Fuchs; his great grandchildren, Eli, Emery and Hazel; and his siblings, Herby Bethe, Barbara Phillips (Don), Mary Kessler (John) and Jane Schmidt (late Stan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and a great-niece.
