He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hess and Ellen Hess (Thomas); his stepson Gerald Lee Parsley; and his sister Leora Hall. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Arthur of Springville; his children, Lois Seagraves (Bill) of Foley, Camille Bender (Larry) of Whiteland and Tom Hess of Springville; his grandchildren, Monica Ayers (Paul), Chandler Seagraves (Teri), Angela Darnell (Mark), Jeremy McCain (Trisha), Michelle Hess, Misty Jones, Dallas Todd Parsley and Jackie Parsley (Marci); his great grandchildren, Courtney Coutinho, John, Kyle O'Connor, Georgie Seagraves, Ashley Bay, Thomas Long, Jeremy James, Addy McCain, Dylan, Abigael Lynn, Alexandria Leigh Parsley, Angel Schlichte, Rachelle Marie Sluss, Cheyenne, Johnnie and Jacob Maners; and his great great grandchildren, Chloe Vivian Masters, Haley, David, Lilly, Maddy, Charlie Maners, Audree White, Brentlee Moore and Keegan Armentrout.
