He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer M. Long and Cora Sue Long (Anderson); and his aunt Sharron Allen (John) of Bedford. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Long of Springville; his sisters, Connie (Theo), Debbie (Keith), Carla Sarris of Linton and Valerie Mobley (Danny) of Ellettsville; his stepchildren, Ashley DeHart (Greg) of Columbus, Brandon Hamilton (Kristen) of West Lafayette and Jared Hamilton of Oolitic; and his grandchildren, Kalli, Addison, Nolan, Jackson and Ellie June. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked donations be made to the family to help with expenses.
