It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Lea Smith (Springville, Indiana), born in Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on November 10, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph B. Smith, Jr.; her children, Little Joe and Joni Kay; her siblings, Norman Ironmonger and Shirley Owens; and her mother Mabel M. Ironmonger.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeri Mae Whaley (Don) of Springville and Jayne Lea Scott (Raymond) of Bloomfield; her grandchildren, Jerrod Whaley of Bloomington, Heath Whaley of Springville, Alysia McIntosh (Josh) of Bloomfield and Austin Scott (Sierra) of Bloomfield; her great grandchildren, Nicholas Whaley, Mazie Jayne McIntosh, Joel Whaley and Ezra Jo McIntosh; and her sister Jane Walker (Jim) of Kokomo.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to IU Health Hospice.
