He was predeceased by: his parents, Rea H. Ratcliff and Winifred Ratcliff (Pickering); his brother Thomas R. Ratcliff; his sister-in-law Valorie Kay Ratcliff; and his cousins, Lea Rae Alexander (Ratcliff), John C. Ratcliff, James R. Pickering and Joyce Holden of Kingston, Ontario..
He is survived by: his son Brian D. Thomas (Jessica) of Spiceland; his grandchildren, Whitney Jane Lanterman (Tyler) of Midland, Holden Thomas of Spiceland and Isaiah DeWitt of Spiceland; his niece Julia Ann Bouslog (Ratcliff) of Spiceland; his great-niece Lauren Bouslog; his cousin Larry J. Ratcliff of Indianapolis; and his mother-in-law Yvonne French of Springport.
