He is survived by: his wife Linda; his sons, Timothy L. Garner of New Castle, Thomas "Jay" Garner of New Castle, Christopher E. Garner (Claudia) of Spiceland and John R. Garner (Marilyn) of Covington, IN; his stepdaughter Lori Spears (Vann) of Norwood, NC; and his sisters, Joyce Myers of Spiceland and Janice Estelle of New Castle.
