He is survived by: his children, Melissa Perkins (Brent) and John Steele Jr.; his grandchildren, Brandt Kessinger, Molly Perkins, Ameera Perkins, Brent Perkins Jr., Mason Steele and Jacob Adkins; and his brother Steve Steele (Barbara). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
