He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Gideon and Nannie Gideon (Chew); and his siblings, Carl, Melvin, Dennis, Donald, Bonnie, Mary and Margaret.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Gideon; his son Brad Gideon; and his brothers, Tom Gideon (Linda) of Spiceland, Ted Gideon of Modoc and Richard Gideon of Hebron. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
