Simon C. Wagler Obituary

The memory of Simon C. Wagler of Spencerville, Indiana, who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wagler and Mary Wagler (Yoder); and his siblings, Lena Barkman (Monroe), Wilmer Wagler (Betty), Omer Wagler, Mildred Delagrange (Ora), Catherine Delagrange (Delbert), Rose Delagrange (Amos Jr.), Ray Wagler and Wilbur "Dale" Wagler (Doris).

He is survived by: his wife Martha Viola Steury (Steury) of Leo; his children, Michelle Renee Hershberger (Lee) of Spencerville, Theresa Elizabeth Wagler of Fort Wayne, David William Wagler of Harlan and Jonathan Aaron Wagler of Spencerville, Indiana.; and his grandchildren, Lucas David Wagler, Alijah Simon Wagler, Aiden Alan Wagler (Ayanna Flores) and Simon Paul Hershberger.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Central Ministries (14717 Amstutz Rd, Leo, IN 46765).
