He was predeceased by: his father Ronald L. Thacker. He is survived by: his mother Sue D. Staggs; his wife Darla; his stepchildren, John Hawkins and Jessica Hawkins; his siblings, Helen Thacker and Brian Thacker; and his grandchildren, Kaiden Hawkins, Baylee Dennison, Lily DuBois and Wyatt DuBois.
