She was predeceased by: her parents, Haldon Chaney and Tessie Chaney (Beaty); her husband John W. Padgett; her sons, Mark Henico and Marland Henico; and her grandson Andrew Padgett.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Cody (Jim) of Linton; her stepsons, Jerry Lee Padgett (Karen) of Indianapolis and John Thomas Padgett (Kim) of South Bend; and her close friend Mary Young. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
