He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Hendricks and Carolyn Thayer (Gearheart); and his son Shannon Major. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Hendricks (Whaley) of Spencer; his children, Crystal Whitfield (Jeff), Terry Major (Shelly) and Doug Major; his siblings, Deborah Wilson (Martin), Greg Hendricks, Michele Gale (Timothy) and Angela Woolems (Mechele); and his nieces, Melissa Wilson, Megan Kucemba, Miranda Tuljus (James) and Tarra Baker (William). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
