She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Cox and Lucille Cox (Clark); and her siblings, Rebecca Lundy and Floyd Cox. She is survived by: her siblings, Arthur Cox, Michael Cox and Barbara Cox; her children, Treva "Kim" Peters, Oakley Peters and Jesse Peters; and her grandchildren, Ashley Peters, Ke'loni Peters, Kei'nani Peters, Kei'yana Peters, Demetrius Peters, Camryn Peters, Adrian Peters and Annabelle Peters. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
