He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Earl Carter; and his brother Kenny Carter. He is survived by: his mother Maxine Ruth Carter (Hawkins); his children, Lynell Carter (Donald), Rhonda Carter and Travis Carter (Melissa); his grandchildren, Jacob Ridge (Jamie Lone), Jessie Parrish, Kasie Ridge (Matthew Wright), Jared Parrish, Hailey Stewart, Jacob Parrish, Macey Parrish, Ashley Stewart, Marissa Carter (Devin Flick), T. J. Stewart and Nicole Ridge (Steven White); his great grandchildren, Braxton Lee Flick, Jace Allen Flick, Brooklyn Kaye, Jasper White, Gunner Wright, Sophia Wright and Malory Wright; his siblings, Lester Carter (Joni) and Marty Carter (Janet); and his brother-in-law George Franklin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to Indiana State Guidelines for Covid 19, Social distancing will be practiced, face mask must be worn in the funeral home and only 25 people will be allowed in the building at one time.
