It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Hanlon (Spencer, Indiana), born in Carrollton, Kentucky, who passed away on October 13, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hanlon and Anna Hanlon (Cox); his former wife Helen "Susie" Poling; his wife Helen Hanlon; his son Brady Hanlon; and his brother Herman Hanlon.
He is survived by: his children, John Hanlon (Laura) of Spencer, IN and Joni Sue Ellis (Brian) of Spencer, IN; his grandchildren, Casey Hanlon (Amy) of Shelbyville, KY, Kelsey Hanlon (Justin Roddye) of Spencer, IN and Nicole Ellis of Bloomington, IN; and his great grandchildren, Layla Grace Hanlon, Madison Pahmeier, Chloe Mooney and Connor Mooney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to any Veterans organization.
