He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Richard and Anna Thacker (Authur); his wife Wilma Jean Thacker (Dixon); and his son Richard Thacker. He is survived by: his sons, Curt Thacker (Benita) of Spencer, Tim Thacker (Leigh Ann) of Spencer, Jim Thacker (Teresa) of Bloomington and John Thacker (Debbie) of Freedom; and his daughter-in-law Shirley Thacker of Gaston. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
