He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Valantine Rumple and Grace Rumple (Baugh); his former wife Edith Ann Rumple (Shirley J.); and his siblings, James Rumple, Barbara Taylor and Charles Ramsey.
He is survived by: his son Richard C. Rumple, Jr. (Millie) of Lexington; and his granddaughters, Amanda (David Beckler) and Karen (Charlie Bennett). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
