She was predeceased by: her parents, John Heard and Cora Heard (Kirby); and her sister Alice Dempsey. She is survived by: her children, Rick Ranard and Rhonda Yount; her brothers, Elmer Heard and Sam Heard; her grandchildren, Courtney Dunigan, Brenna Rose and Dustin Elmore; and her great grandchildren, Ian Rose, Emily Rose and Seraphine Elmore.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis, IN or Owen County Humane Society.
