She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence C. Bruner and Ruth Bruner (Keller); her husband Harold Burks; her brother Lloyd C. Bruner; and her great grandchild Cydney J. Hollers.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jill Smith (Joe) of Bloomington, Ross Morgan of Bloomington, Rhea Hollers (Jason) of Bloomington, Rachel Nicholson (Dale) of Spencer and Ashley Burks of Solsberry; her sisters, Barbara Freeman of Spencer, Martha Terrell of Spencer, Janet Hamm (Don) of Spencer and Jacque Stigall of Spencer; and her sister-in-law Kay Bruner of Bloomington. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
