She was predeceased by: her parents, Jobe Chambers and Erma Chambers (Rhodes); her husband Willard "Ed" Bixler; and her grandsons, William Johnson and Charles Thacker.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Johnson (Rodger) of Patricksburg, Helen Acuff (Aaron) of Ellettsville, Nancy Martin (Bill) of Florida, Carolyn Barger (Kenny) of Spencer, Pamela Muse (Michael) of Spencer and Phillip Bixler (Linda) of Patricksburg; and her grandchildren, Rodger Jr., Toni, Angela, James, Jessica, Claire, Amy, Michael, Kellie, Ricky, Tyson, Jason and Sara. She is also survived by thirty-six great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.
