It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lela Sturgell of Spencer, Indiana, who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lee Cross and Dietta Elizabeth Cross (Beasley); her son Mark E. Sturgell; her siblings, Bill Cross, Glen Roy Cross, Darl Cross, Dean Cross, Mary Cox, Lola Denny and Dorothy Norman; and her grandson Jacob E. Sturgell.
She is survived by: her husband Edward L. Sturgell; her children, Patricia Rojas (Jeff Cotterman), Myria Christenberry and Jeffrey Sturgell; her grandchildren, Michael Dao (Ariel), Jessica Sturgell, Hannah Kay, Joshua Sparks, Rachel Keith (Jeff) and Wesley A. Sturgell; and her great grandchildren, Jeremiah Crites, Chandler Keith, Ezra Cain Rehmel, Krsyln Sturgell, Avery Keith, Jayda Maris Sturgell, Tyler Keith, Khage M. Dao and Revan M. Dao. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to State Guidelines for Covid 19 restrictions, everyone must observe social distancing and face mask must be worn at the funeral and visitation, and only fifty (50) people are allowed in each facility at one time.
