It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Sue Freeman of Spencer, Indiana, born in Bloomington, Indiana, who passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Marvin Sheese; her husband Jack Freeman; and her grandmother Della Light. She is survived by: her mother Anna Mae Sheese (Light); her sons, Bryan Freeman (Tabitha), Eric Freeman (Megan Fabbro) and Trent Freeman (Sydney); her grandchildren, Kendall Freeman, Lindley Fabbro and Jack Freeman; and her siblings, Debbie Gostomski (Barry), Ricky Sheese (Joannie), Tony Sheese (Pam) and Pam Todd. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Owen County 4-H Livestock Fund or Owen County Education Fund (Teacher Mini-Grants) in c/o the Owen County Community Foundation.
