It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John H. Longfellow of Spencer, Indiana, born in Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Longfellow and Vivian Longfellow (Long); his siblings, Thomas Longfellow and Wanita New; and his grandsons, Wesley Longfellow and Jake Chitwood.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Longfellow; his sons, John "Chip" Longfellow and Rodney Longfellow; and his stepdaughters, Shana Diekhoff (Tony), Stephanie Miller (Jack), Shelby Teasley (Bill) and Shara Duncan (Grant). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Owen County Humane Society or the Spencer Church of Christ.
