He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Allen and Myrtle Allen (Richards); his former wife Marcella Allen (Hines); his wife Ruth Allen (Stockwell); and his sisters, Frances Alverson and Josephine Hector.
He is survived by: his son Phillip R. Allen (Glenda); his grandson Todd R. Allen (Brittany); and his great grandchildren, Sydnee (Kalob Gray), Harlee, Khloee and Hunter of Columbus.
