It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Summerlot of Spencer, Indiana, born in Brazil, Indiana, who passed away on December 12, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Summerlot and Helen Summerlot (Thiel). He is survived by: his wife Beverly Summerlot of Spencer; his children, Carmen Summerlot of Terre Haute and Greg Summerlot of Spencer; his brother John Summerlot (Linda) of Spencer; and his grandchildren, Megan Devore and Jeremy Devore. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to State regulation, all visitors must wear a mask and maintain social distancing, and only 25 people will be allowed in attendance at one time.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Spencer.
