She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Franklin and Freda Franklin (Thompson); and her husband Johnnie Wood. She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara DeBoer (David), Susan Kleine (Kevin) and Emily Wood; and her sister Patty Woolard. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
