He is survived by: his wife Nita A. Risk (Burkman); his children, Regina Faye Risk and David Lee Risk II (Kristi); his grandchildren, Nikki Pate, Brian Blevins, Kelsie Risk, David J. Risk, Dillon Risk and Devin Risk; his siblings, Bill Layton (Louanne), Rickie Layton, Joyce Layton, Cherrie Layton, Janet Layton, Rebecca Welcher, Patty Welcher and Sharon Welcher; and his sister-in-law Carol Layton. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
