He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Shadoin and Agnes K. Shadoin (Rice); his wives, Barbara Shadoin (Hale) and Shaun Shadoin (Johnson); his daughter Danaye Taylor; and his brother Robert "Rusty" Shadoin.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel R. Shadoin, Abigail Yount (Mike), Steve Shadoin (Tara), Jared Shadoin (Carrie) and Chris Robertson; his grandchildren, Austin, Blake, Callie, Ellie, Warren, Darren, Stefany Shadoin, Jordan Yount, Kierstyn Bain (Mason), Destiny Jackson (Noah) and Darianne Robertson; his son-in-law Tony Taylor; his close friend Shirley DeHart; and his siblings, Tom Shadoin, Larry Shadoin (Pam) and Doris Colbach (Greg).
