She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy A. Haltom and Gertrude M. Haltom (Graham); her husband Robert Eugene Sims; her children, Nancy Walker and Robert Michael Sims; her sister Alberta Wall; and her granddaughter Cathy Jones.

She is survived by: her daughter Barbara A. Neumeyer of Indianapolis. She is also survived by 3 granddaughters and 8 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Spencer First Baptist Church.
