We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2021, at the age of 83, Barbara Akers of Spencer, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herbert Ristow and Clara Beatrice Ristow; her husband Donald Akers; her sons, John R. McClain (Deborah), Michael A. McClain and Timothy M. McClain; and her granddaughter Crystal McClain. She was also cherished by four step-children and their spouses; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, extended family and friends.
