He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hawes and Anne Hawes (Rehol); his son Michael Hawes; and his brother Harold Hawes Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Hawes of Spencer, IN; and his children, Kelly Freeman-Maners (John) of Spencer, IN, Lisa Tuttle of Niles, MI and Matthew McGlockin of Mitchell, IN. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
